A hypothesis, according to the Oxford definition, is a “supposition or proposed explanation made on the basis of limited evidence as a starting point for further investigation”. Since we began this conversation regarding the Synagogue of Satan (Rev 3:9), we have been gathering evidence to support the claim that the current occupants ruling Jerusalem are not the Israelites of the Bible. Since the release of the Epstein Files in January of 2026, I believe we are together, with the help of the Holy Spirit, making a substantial case that the people currently ruling Jerusalem are not ethnically Jewish, but rather the modern-day equivalents of the first-century Herodians.
This argument is known as the Edomite Hypothesis, the postulation that the Modern Jews are Edomite (Idumean) converts to Judaism, not the biological tribe of Judah.
The Foundational Verse: Revelation 3:9
In order to understand the people governing Israel and dragging the U.S. into seemingly endless conflict in the Middle East, we must heed the Word of the Lord Jesus in the Book of Revelation. During John’s vision, our Lord Jesus Christ—the High Priest of the Order of Melchizedek—gave us a clear warning about a monolithic conspiracy of people on Earth who formally and purposefully serve Satan himself:
Behold, I will cause those of the Synagogue of Satan, who say they are Jews and are not, but lie—I will make them come and bow down at your feet, and make them know that I have loved you.”
Revelation 3:9
Jesus brought this group to our attention for an important reason, it is a red-letter warning from the Savior Himself. He is identifying a nation on earth that claim a Hebrew heritage while actually being biological and spiritual impostors. As you’ll discover in this article, these individuals are the primary enemies of Jesus during His earthly ministry, and they remain the primary enemies of His Church in these Last Days. This is not a “conspiracy theory,” nor an unidentifiable secret society–find the people “who say they are Jews and are not, but lie” and you have identified the Synagogue of Satan on earth.
The Herodian Dynasty
It has come to my attention during this study that almost no Believers, including members of the Clergy, are aware of the ethnic origins of King Herod the Great and his offspring. I must admit, I too never learned this critical historical fact during my first quarter century following Jesus. Nevertheless, it has come to my attention that Herod, the “King of the Jews,” was not a Jew at all, but an imposter. He was an illegitimate ruler, rejected by the Hasmoneans, a mere Roman Senate implant who sat on the throne of Jerusalem not by birthright, but only with the help of the secular West.
The famous first-century historian, Josephus, provides us with critical evidence surrounding the life of Jesus in his works Antiquities of the Jews as well as The Jewish War. For example, Josephus records King Antigonus, a genuine Jew and last Hasmonean king of Judea, denigrated Herod as “no more than a private man, and an Idumean, i.e. a Half-Jew” who was unfit for the Israelite throne (Antiquities 14.15.2). In other words, Antigonus revealed Herod could not rightly rule Jerusalem due to being an Idumean, the first-century name given to the descendants of Esau known as the Edomites.
Prior to his infamous Slaughter of the Innocents recorded in Matthew 2:16, Josephus records King Herod also slaughtered the original Jewish ruling council known as the Sanhedrin, replacing them with those who would later put Christ on trial (Antiquities 14.9.4–5).

Though each of these findings are stunning in their own right, one specific record will upend everything we know about the enemies of Jesus in the first century. Josephus notes that there were three religious sects in operation during the life of Jesus: the Pharisees, the Sadducees, and the Essenes. Christians ought to be familiar with all three as the Pharisees and Sadducees regularly contend with the Lord in the Gospel narrative. Likewise, the Essenes were made famous by providing us with the oldest surviving Biblical texts known as the Dead Sea Scrolls in the caves of Qumran.
Crucially, Josephus notes in his work Jewish War Book 2 that the Essenes alone were “Jews by birth.” Consequently, he is simultaneously confirming the outcome of the events surrounding Herod asrecorded in Antiquities. When the Pharisees and Sadducees had been slaughtered, they were then replaced by Herod’s supporters, including Edomite converts who “say they are Jews and are not” (Rev 2:9).
For there are three philosophical sects among the Jews. The followers of the first of which are the Pharisees; of the second, the Sadducees; and the third sect, which pretends to a severer discipline, are called Essenes. These last are Jews by birth, and seem to have a greater affection for one another than the other sects have.

To recap, Antigonus–the last Hasmonean king and a genuine Jew–called Herod an “Idumaean, i.e., a half-Jew“. Herod responded by slaughtering the genuine Hebraic Sanhedrin and replacing them with his own stage-players and sycophants. This is why Jesus often calls the Pharisees and Sadducees “hypocrites” (hupokritēs)—the Greek term for actors or stage-players. As we’ve discovered, many of them were not Jews by birth, instead they were imposters pretending to be the people of God while working to murder the Jewish Messiah.
And He was giving orders to them, saying, “Watch out! Beware of the leaven of the Pharisees, and the leaven of Herod.”

This becomes abundantly clear when one considers the fact that the Pharisees openly declared to Jesus “we are Abraham’s descendants and have never been enslaved to anyone” in John 8:33. As we all know, the Israelites were slaves in Egypt and were commanded to continually remind their sons of this fact in Deuteronomy 6:21. The fact is, Jews simply would not have claimed they had “never been enslaved to anyone” as these Edomites who claimed to be Jews were boasting.
As mentioned, Jesus famously identified the Pharisees and Sadducees as Hypocrites (Greek: hypokritēs), a word used to refer to an actor who performed as someone he was not (e.g. Matt 23:13). The Pharisees literally fit this definition by being descendants of Abraham through Esau, yet illegitimate children due to Esau selling his birthright and copulating with Canaanites (Gen 36:2). As we’ve established, Josephus confirms this suspicion in Jewish War–only the Essenes were all Jews by birth.
Furthermore, I submit to you that Judas Iscariot was very likely an Edomite. The word “Iscariot” in Hebrew is Ish Kerioth, meaning “Man of Kerioth.” While the other eleven disciples were from Galilee, Judas was curiously from the southernmost part of Judah known as Kerioth—a region that touched northern Edom (Idumea) and was swarming with Edomite converts in the first century. In light of these revelations, it is no coincidence that the one disciple who “Satan entered” (Luke 22:3) and betrayed the Messiah came from Edomite country. Just as Herod slaughtered the infants, his ethnic kinsman Judas betrayed the Son of Man with a kiss.
Are you beginning to see it? The primary enemies of Jesus during the First Advent wrongfully ruled the kingdom of Judea and fraudulently claimed “they are Jews and are not, but lie” (Rev 3:9). They worked together with the secular West (Luke 23:12) to oppress the People of God. Today, their descendants continue to do the very same on a worldwide scale and, as we’ll see in this article, will greatly rebel against Jesus once again by ushering in the Antichrist.
Genetic Investigation
Dr. Karl Skorecki, a leading geneticist most famous for his discovery of the Cohen Modal Haplotype (CMH) in 1997, proved Ashkenazi & Sephardi descend from one common male ancestor ~3,000 years ago. His finding launched modern Jewish population genetics and made him a world-recognized authority on Jewish ancestry.
In an interview with The Ask Project, Dr. Skorecki was asked a poignant question: “Are the Jewish people of today directly related to the Israelites of the Bible?” His answer was a staggering admission:
We don’t have DNA from the Israelites of the Bible. So there’s no way to provide a direct answer to your question.

If the primary authority on Jewish genetics admits they have no biological link to the First Temple period, why is the modern Church being commanded to “bless” an entity that cannot prove its identity?
He goes on to state: “Self-identified Jews… many Jews who come from most diaspora communities… their DNA markers show that there is a high degree of relatedness to each other, indicating common ancestry. The closest non-Jewish populations are Levantine populations — Druze, Palestinians, Syrians — rather than their non-Jewish neighbors in the diaspora.”
Recent studies, such as the 2020 report in The Cell titled “The Genomic History of the Bronze Age Southern Levant,” reveal that the Ashkenazi are genetically Canaanites. In other words, the Ashkenazi are genetically descendants of Ham, rather than Hebrews, the descendants of Shem. This aligns perfectly with the Edomite Hypothesis: Esau, the father of Edom (Idumea), married several Canaanite women in rebellion to his father Isaac. After millennia of mixing in the region, the descendants of Esau no longer held their Hebrew genetics but instead became the Canaanite-blooded Edomites who merely call themselves “Jews.”

The inconvenient truth is no genetic study has extracted DNA from First Temple Period Israelite gravesites, none. The Cell study utilized DNA extracted from Megiddo and Ashkelon–both sites being historically riddled with Canaanites. Religious authorities in Jerusalem consistently refuse to allow DNA extraction from First Temple Period Jewish graves. It is my personal suspicion that they know if the world saw the truth, then their claim to the land—a claim based on stolen valor—would vanish. Proving to be the Israelites of the Bible carries too great a risk, therefore it is prudent to simply state “we don’t have DNA from the Israelites of the Bible” and leave it a mystery.
Moreover, in the interview referenced, Dr. Skorecki noted the Modern Jewish population’s closest genetic relatives include the Syrians. Interestingly, this is precisely where the Herodian Historian, Ptolemy of Ascalon, said the Edomites–the descendants of Esau–originated from.
The Jews are such by nature, and from the beginning, whilst the Idumeans were not Jews from the beginning, but Phoenicians and Syrians; but being afterward subdued by the Jews, and compelled to be circumcised, and to unite into one nation and to be subject to the same laws, they were called Jews. They were called Jews, not because of their descent, but in regard to their religion and manner of life. Hence it was that the kingdom of Herod and his posterity were called, ‘The Kingdom of the Proselytes,’ by the Hebrews.

It is quite evident therefore that the Modern Jews cannot present ancestral records connecting them to the Tribe of Judah nor Benjamin (i.e. Jews), nor any Israelite clan. They likewise are unable to make a genetic connection to First Temple Period graves since their own religious authorities refuse to allow the DNA to be extracted–an act protecting their own reputation rather than the remains of ancient Israelites.
Why, then, do the Modern Jews demand we recognize them as the Israelites of the Bible when they refuse to provide sufficient evidence of their claims? Moreover, why are we entertaining their fallacious statements and blindly following them to our own destruction? Could this be the Great Delusion?

Envy for Jacob’s Land
The Edomites are prophesied to be “small among the nations” and “greatly despised” (Obadiah 1:2). As of 2026, there are only 11 million Ashkenazi on earth—a tiny fraction of the human population even when compared to other “small” ethnic populations like the Oromo Ethiopians (34 million) or the ethnic Poles (60 million). They are quite small, they are deceived by their arrogance (Oba 1:3), and they are indeed despised by the nations that have ejected them over the centuries.

Furthermore, according to Scripture, the descendants of Esau have always been seeking to dispossess Jacob from the lands granted him by God. Ezekiel 35:10 records their heart’s desire:
“Because you have said, ‘These two nations and these two lands [Israel and Judah] will be mine, and we will possess them,’ although the Lord was there…”

After losing his birthright, Esau has long desired Jacob’s lands (Eze 35:10, 36:5, Ps 83:6-12), and he successfully possessed them during the Babylonian Captivity by assisting during the Siege of Jerusalem (Oba 1:11-14, Eze 36:5). These acts made the Edomites “the people toward whom the Lord is indignant forever” (Mal 1:4), a title that haunts them throughout the Biblical narrative.
As a result of their acts during the Babylonian siege, God responds to their blatant envy with righteous indignation. In Ezekiel 36:5, He speaks against “all Edom” who “appropriated My land for themselves as a possession with wholehearted joy.” They took the land of Jacob with “scorn of soul,” and without remorse. Today, we see the same spirit operating in them once again as they gleefully destroy the nations surrounding their borders. To make matters worse, the Evangelical Church has been duped into helping usher in the Antichrist, not realizing that Modern Israel is Edom in Zion.
…Jerusalem will be trampled under foot by the Gentiles until the times of the Gentiles are fulfilled.

As discussed earlier in the article, we know the Edomites again dispossessed Jacob during the Herodian Dynasty (Antiquties 14-17, Jewish War 1, Ptolemy on Herod), and, as we’ll examine shortly, Esau is prophesied to possess Jacob’s lands one final time in the Last Days prior to Jesus’ Second Advent (Oba 1:21, Zech 14:21, Amos 9:11-12, Luke 21:24). Just as the West helped the Edomites rule Jerusalem during the First Coming of Christ, they are doing it again today in advance of the Second Coming.
Counterfeit Return vs. Real Restoration
Many “Christian Zionists” have made an unholy allegiance with those who “claim to be Jews and are not” that is an order of magnitude stronger than their allegiance to their own Christian brethren. Though Evangelical Believers have more in common with Lebanese, Iranian, and Palestinian Christians than with those whose atrocious Talmud says Jesus is boiling in excrement (Gittin 57a), they continue to gleefully support the bombing and oppression of Arabic believers because of a mind-virus called Political Zionism.
Scripture is clear: True Israel and Judah do not repossess their lands en masse until the Second Advent. Many Prophecies, including Jeremiah 3:17-18, tell us that Jacob’s descendants will come from the “land of the North” in sync with the Messiah’s return, not before. Furthermore, the students of prophecy know the 1917 Balfour Declaration was a man-inspired promise made to the Rothschild Family not a fulfillment of biblical prophecy.
When translated into Hebrew based on its etymological meaning, the surname Rothschild corresponds to “Magen Edom” (מגן אֱדוֹם) or “Shield of Edom.” One will find it most difficult to argue in favor of their Jewish heritage when their own surname explicitly states otherwise. Moreover, since receiving the Balfour Declaration from the British Government, the Rothschilds have played an instrumental role in creating the modern nation called “Israel” in 1948. This nation, which flies the pagan Shatkona instead of the Temple Menorah on its flag, was not a fulfillment of Israel’s prophesied return; it was the necessary facilitation of a final Edomite occupation prior to the return of Jesus our Lord.
When we thoroughly review the prophetic texts, we see a completely different timeline of events for the restoration of Israel and Judah to their ancestral lands from the one which began in 1948:
- The Simultaneous Return (Jeremiah 3:17-18): Jerusalem is only called the “Throne of the Lord” when the Messiah returns to reign in Zion. It is at that time that the house of Judah returns with the house of Israel to the land of their fathers.
- The Two Sticks & The Davidic King (Ezekiel 37:15-28): God takes the stick of Judah and the stick of Joseph (Ephraim) and simultaneously makes them one nation with one King. This King is revealed to be “My servant David”—Jesus Christ (Matt 1:1, Mark 10:47, 2 Sam 7:12-16). Ezekiel confirms Israel does not become a nation again until the Davidic King reigns over them simultaneously. Any nation calling itself “Israel” without the Son of David on the throne is a counterfeit.
- The Second Recovery (Isaiah 11:11-12): God promises to recover the remnant of His people a second time (not a third, forth, fifth time) from the islands of the sea and the four corners of the earth. This second recovery happens when the “Root of Jesse” (the Messiah) stands as a signal for the peoples.
- Possessing the Remnant of Edom (Amos 9:11-15): On the day the Lord raises up the “fallen booth of David,” He declares that His people will “possess the remnant of Edom.” This perfectly aligns with Obadiah 1:21, which states that deliverers will ascend Mount Zion specifically to “judge the mountain of Esau”.
- Ascending Mount Zion (Obadiah 1:15-21): In a prophecy that is only one chapter long, we are enlightened of two prophetic facts: (1) the nations of Israel and Judah will return to their lands on the Day of the Lord. It is at this time that Edom will finally be defeated. (2) Moreover, the Edomites reigning in Zion will be overthrown by the Lord and the Israelites on that day. This aligns with Zechariah’s declaration that when the Messiah returns “there will no longer be a Canaanite in the House of the Lord” (Zech 14:21).

The Scriptures are unambiguous about the events surrounding the return of Israel to their lands so that Believers will not be deceived. The War of 1948 was not the return of Ethnic Israel, it was the establishment of a Counterfeit State. It was the false return before ushering in a false messiah (the Antichrist), and preparing to make an abomination of a temple run by a false Canaanite-blooded priesthood. The current occupiers of Zion are impostors who, like a “brood of vipers” (Matt 12:34), have snaked their way into the Holy Land while the true descendants of Jacob remain in a state of Prophetic Amnesia, having forgotten who they are until the Last Days (Jer 50:6, Lam 2:6, Eze 37:4, Ecc 9:5).

Know Their Intentions
In his article Bolshevism vs Zionism, Winston Churchill assumed that if the “International Jews” were to occupy the ancestral lands of Jacob, they would cease their campaign to dominate other countries. He writes:

The adherents of this sinister confederacy are mostly men reared up among the unhappy populations of countries where Jews are persecuted on account of their race. It has been the mainspring of every subversive movement during the Nineteenth Century; and now at last this band of extraordinary personalities from the underworld of the great cities of Europe and America have gripped the Russian people by the hair of their heads and have become practically the undisputed masters of that enormous empire…

Unfortunately, we can now see what Churchill could not; the Synagogue of Satan does not merely desire their current borders, nor that of “Greater Israel“; their overarching strategy is the total conquest and control of the world. The Bolshevik Revolution–the fruit of Marxism–was a successful test run of the tactics necessary for total world domination as prophesied in Scripture. The coming Antichrist, who reigns from the Third Temple in Jerusalem (2 Thess 2:3-4, Matt 24:15-16, Dan 9:27, 11:36) will secure total control over the world, especially its commerce.

If you haven’t listened to enough of their own rabbis or read the Talmud to understand this, you are still operating under a heavy cloud of deception. Their goal is to reduce every Goyim (Gentile) to a state of servitude to enrich their counterfeit ethnostate. To accomplish this, they must first weaken the existing world powers, specifically the historically Christian nations of the West.
This weakening of other nations is achieved through a multi-fronted assault:
- The Inundation of Migration: Zionists are the primary architects and voices behind the mass migration into European and Anglo-Saxon nations. They weaken these countries by instilling “suicidal empathy” in the host population while bringing in welfare-dependent migrants who fraudulently drain the national wealth—money that should be used to protect and benefit the Christian families of those nations. In contrast, Biblical love for your neighbor begins with ensuring the well-being of your own Christian brethren first (Gal 6:10). Likewise, Christian doctrine demands the recipients of generosity become productive and give back (Eph 4:28, 1 Thess 4:12).
- The Hemorrhaging of Funds: They encourage the constant funding of external projects and foreign wars rather than domestic stability. We have sent at least $350 billion to Israel since 1948 while our own young families struggle to afford a first home. We are being told to go die in the Middle East for the Edomites while our own nation is drained into a state of bankruptcy.
- The Stranglehold of Debt: By stirring up endless conflicts and funding fraudulent immigrants, they drain the treasury and kill off our youth, ensuring that the West remains subservient to the banking families that run the world’s commerce system.
If you remain unconvinced, the campaign donation data compiled by Open Secrets DC reveals just how compromised our Federal Government is:
- U.S. House: 416 U.S. House Representatives (out of 435) received contributions from pro-Israel groups. The House is 95% Zionist.
- U.S. Senate: 59 U.S. Senators (out of 100) received contributions from pro-Israel groups. The Senate is 59% Zionist.
Likewise, Track AIPAC uncovered >$230 MILLION in spending by pro-Israel interest groups benefiting President Donald Trump since 2020. Imagine if this were true of Pro-China PACs, how would we respond to that level of influence from a foreign nation?
This is not a “national partnership”; it is a captured Vassal State being disproportionately influenced by a foreign government and its national interests. The modern Church has been tricked into thinking it is “un-Christian” to resist this infiltration. However, the Scriptural mandate regarding our response to the invasion of wickedness is clear. In 1 Corinthians 5:12-13, the Apostle Paul references the Case Law of Deuteronomy 17 to give us a direct command:
“For what have I to do with judging outsiders? Do you not judge those who are within? But those who are outside, God judges. Remove the wicked man from among yourselves.”

This is a divine mandate to expel those who have infiltrated and intend to harm the congregation. This principle applies to a historically Christian nation as much as it does a small congregation. We are not required to serve the Synagogue of Satan, nor “die kindly” at the hands of those who claim Jesus is boiling in excrement. We have a divine right to alter this government and expel the wicked from positions of public trust.
The first step of government reform is simple:
Do not elect any representative who receives Zionist money.
This is a must regardless of which party they claim to represent. I don’t care how “conservative” they seem or well-spoken they are; I don’t care if they claim to be a lifetime Christian; if they are on the payroll of a foreign nation, they will prioritize a foreign agenda over your prosperity and the protection of your children. We have watched this play out in real-time, we’re not falling for the ruse any longer.
Faith that Overcomes
Where does this leave us, the Church? Each of the seven churches presented in Revelation correspond to an era of Church history. The geographical order of the churches (along a Roman postal route) is seen as sequential, mirroring chronological progression.
- Ephesus (Revelation 2:1–7): Represents the early apostolic church (c. AD 30–100), commended for orthodoxy but rebuked for losing its “first love.” Etymological meaning: “Desirable” (derived from Greek, implying something longed for or permitted; often linked to the church’s initial fervor).
- Smyrna (Revelation 2:8–11): Represents the persecuted church (c. AD 100–313), facing “tribulation” amid Roman emperors’ attacks. Etymological meaning: “Myrrh” or “Bitterness” (from the Greek smurna, referring to the fragrant resin myrrh, which is obtained by crushing, symbolizing suffering; “bitterness” through death).
- Pergamum (or Pergamos; Revelation 2:12–17): Represents the compromising church (c. AD 313–590), “where Satan’s throne is,” linked to Constantine’s era of state-church fusion. Etymological meaning: “Married,” “Citadel,” “High Towers,” or “Thoroughly Married” (from Greek pergamos, combining pergos (tower or citadel) and gamos (marriage); interpreted as “united by marriage” (e.g., church to state).
- Thyatira (Revelation 2:18–29): Represents the corrupt church (c. AD 590–1517), tolerating “Jezebel” (idolatry), paralleling medieval Catholicism. Etymological meaning: “Sacrifice,” “Perpetual Sacrifice,” or “Continual Offering” (possible meanings include “castle of Thya” or “sacrifice offering”; tied to themes of ongoing sacrifice, sometimes linked to idolatry).
- Sardis (Revelation 3:1–6): Represents the dead church (c. AD 1517–1750), “alive in name only,” akin to post-Reformation Protestantism’s formalism. Etymological meaning: “Escaping” or “Those Escaping” (proposed etymologies include “prince of joy,” “that which remains,” or “those escaping”; fits the remnant theme in a spiritually declining church).
- Philadelphia (Revelation 3:7–13): Represents the faithful missionary church (c. AD 1750–2000), with an “open door” for evangelism. Etymological meaning: “Brotherly Love” (from Greek philadelphos, combining philos (love) and adelphos (brother); reflects themes of faithfulness and community).
- Laodicea (Revelation 3:14–22): Represents the lukewarm apostate church (c. AD 2000–end times), “neither hot nor cold,” reflecting modern materialism and self-sufficiency. Etymological meaning: “People Ruling” or “Judgment of the People” (from Greek laodikeia, blending laos (people) and dike (justice or judgment); symbolizes self-governance or democratic but lukewarm faith).
We are currently in the period of Laodicea—the “lukewarm” church of the Last Days characterized by people ruling, materialism, and apathy. We say we are “rich and have need of nothing,” but Jesus says we are “wretched, miserable, poor, blind, and naked” (Rev 3:15-17).
In light of this prophetic understanding, we must abandon our selfish apathy and toughen our mind, body, and spirit in these Last Days. We are approaching a tribulation that we will not be “raptured” out of beforehand; we will indeed gather to Jesus, but only after the Antichrist is revealed (Matt 24:29-31, Rev 20:4). As the Day of the Lord draws near, we must be like the Christians of Revelation 12:11:
And they overcame him because of the blood of the Lamb and because of the word of their testimony, and they did not love their life even when faced with death.”

We cannot be afraid of the Anti-Defamation League or any authoritarian organization that threatens to deplatform, disenfranchise, and destroy us. Let them come, we don’t fear their lists for our names are written in the Lamb’s Book of Life (Rev 3:5). Learn now, while the tree is still green, that God is your Provider (Gen 22:14, Matt 6:31-32), so that you do not succumb to the fear of being unable to buy or sell when the Mark of the Beast arrives.
The one who is victorious will, like them, be dressed in white. I will never blot out the name of that person from the Book of Life, but will acknowledge that name before my Father and his angels.

The Gates of Hell will not Prevail
In closing, the Truth is more powerful than their Lies, our Love is more powerful than their Hate, and we take courage knowing “greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world” (1 John 4:4). Jesus promised that the “gates of hell will not overpower” His Church (Matt 16:18). We have identified the enemy: the Synagogue of Satan, comprised of Edomite converts to Judaism “who say that they are Jews and are not, but lie” (Rev 3:9). We have the historical records, the genetic admissions, and the prophetic witness to back our hypothesis, and we have decided:
We serve the I AM, not the Synagogue of Satan.
